This morning I am attending the Startup Virginia launch event at George Mason University in Arlington, Virginia. It is the first of 14 Startup America events today to celebrate the one year anniversary of the partnership. Steve Case and Aneesh Chopra are on hand to speak about Startup America. While Mark Walsh, Jonathan Aberman, Evan Burfield, Dendy Young and Donna Harris are on hand to share there thoughts on the cooperation between the Virginia, Maryland and DC region. Tonight, Startup DC will also be hosting a launch event which I have been more intimately involved in. I look forward to President Obama’s Startup America legislation today as well. It will be offering tax breaks, crowd funding updates, and more with the focus on job creation through a solid entrepreneurial foundation in America.
